Qualifications

• ABET-accredited B.S. in Mechanical Engineering.
• Strong mechanical background with nuclear industry exposure.
• Ability to tackle complex mechanical/electromechanical design problems.

Responsibilities

• Support mechanical design engineering for nuclear power plant projects.
• Develop practical solutions to complex mechanical and electromechanical challenges.
• Perform and review engineering calculations, designs, specs, and deliverables.
• Evaluate systems using mechanics, thermodynamics, hydraulics, heat transfer, and materials science.
• Provide technical guidance on mechanical design processes and construction methods.
• Support Engineering Change Control for nuclear utilities.
• Apply nuclear codes, standards, regulations, and Nuclear QA requirements.
• Collaborate with clients and multidisciplinary teams to set priorities.
• Support projects from concept through design and implementation.
• Prepare clear technical reports, documents, and presentations.
• Manage multiple priorities while maintaining client relationships.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from ABET-accredited school
