Job summary

Octave is seeking a Regulatory Compliance Consultant (Nuclear/Export) in Madison, WI, with remote work options. The role focuses on ensuring nuclear-related technology and information comply with DOE and export controls, collaborating with the Nuclear Quality and Safety team to cover QA and ISMS requirements.

The candidate will lead export control initiatives, develop SOPs, conduct audits, and provide training across the organization, aligning with FedRAMP, NIS2, and CRA as new requirements

Qualifications

• Knowledge of nuclear export control or ITAR.
• 2–4 years in quality, security, or regulatory compliance.
• Experience designing compliance programs and risk assessments.
• Experience documenting under document control.
• Experience planning internal audits and hosting audits.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, law, or related field, or equivalent.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME for export control for internal teams and customers.
• Coordinate with legal, development, cloud, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate determinations.
