Zusammenfassung

Octave is seeking a Regulatory Compliance Consultant to ensure nuclear export controls and related regulations are met across DOE and other regimes. You will collaborate with legal, development, and security teams to implement robust compliance programs and maintain documentation controls.

The role involves conducting risk assessments, audits, and certifications, plus delivering training and guidance to diverse stakeholders.

Qualifikationen

• Knowledge of nuclear export control (ITAR) required.
• 2–4 years in quality, security, or regulatory compliance.
• Experience designing compliance programs, conducting risk assessments, and preparing regulatory reports.
• Experience implementing policies and procedures under document control.
• Experience planning and performing internal audits.
• Experience hosting customer and/or third-party certification audits.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, law, or a related field, or equivalent technical or compliance experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain compliance requirements to audiences at varying levels of expertise.

Aufgaben

• Export Control Compliance: serve as SME for export control controls for internal teams and customers; coordinate with legal, development, cloud, and other stakeholders for accurate determinations.
• Program Management and Documentation: create and update SOPs under strict document control; participate in formal risk assessment and remediation; track metrics across compliance; participate in new initiatives (e.g., FedRAMP, NIS2, CRA).
• Auditing and Certifications: perform internal audits; represent compliance in external and customer audits; track CAPA resolution for QRC and support other teams with CAPA.
• Training and Guidance: develop and deliver onboarding and refresher training for employees, executives, interns, consultants, and contractors; stay current on industry topics; provide technical leadership to other Regulatory Compliance Consultants.
