Job summary

V2X, Inc. seeks an NREMT Paramedic to provide ALS, emergency medical response, patient assessment, stabilization, treatment, and transport support for Ascension Island operations under the V2X program.

The role ensures 24/7 readiness and response for AAAF missions in a remote, austere environment. You will respond to emergencies across Ascension Island, coordinate EMS activities with military personnel and authorized staff, maintain certifications and equipment, and assist in mass casualty

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of an accredited Paramedic program.
• NREMT Paramedic certification required.
• Minimum two years as a Paramedic in last three years.
• Experience in austere/remote/overseas environments preferred.
• Current BLS/ACLS; PALS preferred.
• Willingness to travel internationally.

Responsibilities

• Provide ALS emergency medical response, assessment, stabilization, treatment, and transport.
• Respond to EMS incidents across AAAF-controlled areas.
• Operate ambulances and emergency response equipment safely.
• Coordinate patient transfers and MEDEVAC operations.
• Maintain readiness for after-hours emergency response.
• Document patient care and maintain EMS records.
• Participate in mass casualty response planning and drills.
• Collaborate with medical leaders and emergency responders.
