Zusammenfassung

Vectus? V2X is seeking an NREMT Paramedic to provide ALS emergency medical response on Ascension Island as part of the V2X program. The role covers 24/7 readiness, patient care, and transport support within a remote, austere environment for DoD and military personnel.

The position requires current NREMT Paramedic certification, BLS, ACLS, and a willingness to travel internationally. Prior overseas or austere experience is preferred, with a focus on teamwork and rapid decision making.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of an accredited Paramedic program.
• Minimum of two years as a Paramedic within the last three years.
• Experience in EMS, emergency response, trauma care, or critical care transport preferred.
• Experience in remote, overseas, military, or austere environments preferred.
• Government healthcare contracts or operational medicine experience preferred.
• Current NREMT Paramedic certification required.
• Current unrestricted Paramedic license required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• PALS/ITLS or PHTLS preferred.

Aufgaben

• Provide ALS emergency response, assessment, stabilization, treatment, and transport.
• Respond to EMS incidents in AAAF facilities per protocols.
• Operate ambulances and EMS equipment safely.
• Deliver trauma care, airway management, and medication administration within scope.
• Coordinate patient transfers and MEDEVAC support as needed.
• Maintain readiness for after-hours emergencies in remote settings.
• Document care and operations per EMS standards.
• Maintain EMS equipment, meds, and readiness of vehicles.
