Job summary

International SOS Government Medical Services seeks a Nurse Practitioner to provide acute and emergency medical care at a remote Alaskan site, including stabilizing patients for evacuation and guiding clinical practices.

You will oversee medical staff, coordinate evacuations, and help maintain a compliant healthcare operation with 24/7 readiness, supporting clinic services at Eareckson Air Station, AK. Travel, housing, and meals are provided.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree from an accredited institution.
• Current, unrestricted NP license in at least one U.S. state/ DC/PR.
• AANPCB or ANCC certification.
• BLS and ACLS certifications with a DEA license.
• Experience in remote or resource-limited emergency care and medical evacuations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver acute, emergency, and chronic care with evacuation planning.
• Coordinate medical evacuations and mortuary affairs when needed.
• Lead medical staff, ensure infection control and patient safety.
• Oversee clinical policies, training, and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain records and manage equipment, supplies, and reporting.
