Job summary

NuScale Power, LLC is seeking a limited-engagement staff augmentation specialist to update software plans, procedures, and work instructions under an NQA-1 quality framework. Remote work is allowed within the contiguous United States with travel as required for business needs.

The role emphasizes navigating NQA-1 2008/2009a and 2022 compliance, regulatory guidance, and collaboration across design, analysis, and software development teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field; ten+ years of nuclear QA experience may substitute.

Responsibilities

• Lead adequacy and efficiency evaluations of software infrastructure against NQA-1 2008/2009a and 2022.
• Prepare plans, procedures and desktop instructions for software in compliance with NQA-1 and IEEE standards.
• Guide other departments in meeting applicable software regulations as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
