Job summary

Local Infusion is a remote-first team delivering specialized infusion care. We seek a licensed Maryland Nurse Practitioner to join our virtual care team, providing patient-facing neurology and memory care via telehealth and partnering with physicians to improve access and time to treatment.

Responsibilities include direct telehealth care, assessments, care plans, and prescribing therapies in collaboration with supervising physicians; educate patients and families; maintain EMR documentation.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Maryland NP license.
• 2+ years of neurology/memory care/dementia experience.
• Certification in geriatrics, adult-gerontology, or family practice preferred.
• Strong clinical judgement and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct telehealth care to patients with neurological conditions and memory disorders.
• Assess patients, develop care plans, and manage treatment with supervising physicians.
• Collaborate with neurologists and care team to ensure continuity of care.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, and disease progression.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in the EMR per regulatory requirements.
