Job summary

Filevine is expanding its Digital Reporter Network to support remote legal proceedings by notaries. You will manage Zoom sessions, assist attendees with technical issues, and help ensure transcripts are captured accurately. This 1099 independent contractor role offers flexible hours and the chance to work remotely.

The position targets notaries who can generally work during standard business hours and want a reliable, growing tech company. Experience with legal proceedings is a bonus.

Qualifications

• Active Notary Public license in one of the listed states.
• Strong internet connection and a quiet, professional workspace.
• Video-enabled computer with required software.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Availability during standard business hours (9:00–17:00 local).
• Familiarity with Zoom or similar conferencing platforms.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Zoom sessions with professionalism and warmth.
• Troubleshoot technical issues for attendees.
• Safeguard transcript quality through optimal audio conditions.
• Administer oaths and handle procedural steps for the proceeding.
• Follow provided scripts and forms with care and timeliness.
• Maintain confidentiality and a professional presence throughout proceedings.
