Job summary

CS Power Systems, a cutting-edge division of Canadian Solar, seeks a Regional Sales Manager for the PV Modules group to drive Northwest US sales from our US factories and operations. The role requires frequent face-to-face customer interactions and a strategic approach to grow module sales in Commercial and Utility markets while expanding energy storage opportunities.

You’ll build strong relationships with developers, installers and EPCs, manage the full sales cycle, and travel up to 50%

Qualifications

• 5+ years of B2B selling experience, including 3+ years in PV solar.
• Strong network of renewable energy developers, installers and EPCs.
• Residence in Northwestern US and within one hour of a major airport.
• Experience creating quotations and purchase orders and processing orders.
• Ability to develop account and market penetration strategies.
• Subject matter expert on state markets and solar industry trends.

Responsibilities

• Meet prospects and build long-term relationships to position Canadian Solar products.
• Generate new leads via face-to-face meetings, industry events, data-mining of installer lists.
• Enter customer and competitive data into the CRM in real time.
• Achieve targets for sales volume, revenue and gross margin; manage territory.
• Manage full sales cycle including quotes, purchase orders, and coordinating deliveries.
• Represent the company at trade shows and conferences to close new opportunities.
