Job summary

Prisma Photonics in the United States is seeking an Executive Sales Director, Utilities, North America to drive systemic expansion of our fiber-based transmission technology across the region. This is a strategic, high-impact role for an experienced hunter who operates as an owner rather than a traditional salesperson.

You will lead major utilities, navigate regulatory shifts, and flexibly work remotely while traveling to key accounts as needed.

Qualifications

10+ years of executive sales experience in energy, utility, or critical infrastructure sectors.
Scale-up pedigree: taking tech from pilots to dominant market.
Domain expertise in Grid-Enhancing Technologies (GETs), AI, and software-defined power systems.
Strategic network with NAM utility executives (C-level).
Fluency in English is mandatory.

Responsibilities

Drive multi-year, system-wide contracts across North America; move from pilots to large-scale deployments.
Penetrate Tier-1 utility accounts and deepen beachhead relationships.
Standardize sales processes and materials to enable rapid, repeatable growth.
Position the value proposition as grid hardening with AI-driven insights.
Lead the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closing as a hands-on hunter.
Navigate NAM regulatory shifts to keep our offering as the preferred choice.
Manage 12–24 month enterprise sales cycles with internal and external stakeholders.
