Job summary

Blackbaud is seeking a Sales Solutions Consultant to present our Financial solutions with a value-based approach across the US and Canada. You will translate business needs into compelling demos, collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams, and drive opportunities through rigorous discovery, demonstrations, and ROI-focused content.

Qualifications

• Nonprofit fundraising, financial and/or operational experience.
• Experience with Blackbaud products.
• Ability to persuade through presentations, demonstrations, and written communication.
• Experience delivering presentations to executive-level and working-level audiences.
• Translate technical features into business benefits.
• Recommend strategic workflows and policies related to product solutions.
• Analytical and detail-oriented problem solver.
• Willingness to travel occasionally in pursuit of sales and events.

Responsibilities

• Drive bookings and revenue.
• Serve as the business, industry, and technical expert on assigned vertical, solutions and plays.
• Catalyze new opportunities with internal and external partners.
• Qualify opportunities through discovery to uncover pain and prove fit.
• Coach sales process and opportunity strategy.
• Develop ROI business cases to realize customer outcomes.
• Provide tools and demos to help buyers qualify our solutions.
• Enable Account Executives with knowledge and tools for higher velocity.
• Serve as the link between Sales, Marketing, and Products.
• Provide input to Sales/Marketing on campaigns and events.
• Nurture feedback between Products and buyers/sellers.
• Interface with ISV and Channel Partners to expand options.
• Lead discovery and requirements gathering sessions with customers/prospects.
• Lead end-user and comprehensive tech demos for buyers.
• Create/deliver customer content for demos and sales tools.
• Create sales enablement sessions for AE’s and managers.
• Complete Blackbaud Certification where applicable.
• Provide recommendations for implementation services.
• Respond to RFPs/RFIs with functional/technical input.
• Document observations for the implementation team post-close.
• Assist in training new sales personnel.
