Job summary

Vault Consulting provides top quality outsourced accounting, outsourced HR and full-service research for nonprofits. This Supervisor role focuses on month-end close, financial statement prep, and client interactions, with onboarding and professional development support.

You’ll work as a consultant yet remain a full-time Vault employee with benefits, in a dynamic nonprofit environment. The position emphasizes client service, collaboration, and accuracy, with opportunities for growth through Vault

Qualifications

4–6 years of experience in public accounting, auditing, corporate or nonprofit accounting.
CPA or license in progress preferred.
Not-for-profit industry experience preferred.
Familiarity with multiple accounting software packages including Sage Intacct and QuickBooks is preferred.
Excellent Excel and MS Office skills.
Strong analytical/problem solving skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Provide outsourced accounting services for multiple clients and oversee engagements.
Oversee client relationship and engagement team progress.
Review monthly balance sheet reconciliations and prepare statements.
Produce and review monthly financial statements for clients.
Prepare and review audit and 990 support schedules.
Communicate with clients on engagement matters; interface with vendors and banks.
