Job summary

MasterBorn is seeking a skilled Backend Developer to join a team serving US clients. The tech stack includes React, Node.js and TypeScript; you will write readable, testable code, own features from requirements to deployment, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

You should have 2+ years of Node.js experience, familiarity with at least one backend framework, strong TypeScript skills, and exposure to SQL/NoSQL.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of commercial experience in Node.js.
• Proficient with at least one backend framework (Express.js, NestJS, Fastify).
• Strong TypeScript skills with advanced typing and compiler configuration.
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases or in-memory data stores.

Responsibilities

• Write readable, testable and maintainable JS/TS code with an OOP flavor.
• Own backend features from requirements through deployment.
• Write documentation for delivered code and technical decisions.
• Perform code reviews and share knowledge with the team.
• Design and modify basic DB structures and API contracts.
• Propose pragmatic improvements and proactive solutions for the product.
• Share insights to diagnose issues and communicate risks.
• Participate in project refinements and technical decisions.
• Listen to client needs and propose practical solutions after team input.
• Mentor less experienced teammates through code reviews and pairing.
