Job summary

Augmented Ally It Solutions is seeking a skilled Node.js Developer for a remote, evening-shift role. You will build scalable backend services with Node.js, Nest.js, Express.js, PostgreSQL/MySQL, MongoDB and AWS, delivering high-performance RESTful APIs and cloud-based applications.

With 3–6 years of backend experience, you will design APIs, collaborate with frontend, product and DevOps, implement authentication (JWT/OAuth), and ensure code quality through reviews and tests.

Qualifications

• 3-6 years of back-end development experience.
• Strong Node.js and Express.js skills.
• Hands-on Nest.js framework experience.
• Experience with PostgreSQL/MySQL and MongoDB.
• AWS experience with EC2, S3, Lambda, and RDS.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js and Express.js.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Work with MongoDB to design schemas, write optimized queries, and ensure database performance.
• Deploy, manage, architect and monitor applications on AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, etc.).
• Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and DevOps teams.
• Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms (JWT, OAuth).
• Ensure code quality through best practices, code reviews, and unit testing.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Troubleshoot and debug production issues.
