Job summary

PAR Technology Corporation is seeking a NodeJS Engineer to build scalable backend services and APIs. You will work across teams to deliver high-quality product experiences, with Node.js/Typescript, PostgreSQL, and GraphQL at the core.

You will collaborate with product managers and engineers, resolve production issues, and contribute to architecture and testing practices in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of backend development, distributed systems and microservices.
• Proven expertise in Node.js/TypeScript and PostgreSQL.
• Experience with GraphQL, TypeORM, and Nest.js.
• Hands-on with Kubernetes, message brokers, APIs, and integrations with hardware.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain backend services and API.
• Collaborate with product managers to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Investigate and resolve production issues with root-cause analysis.
• Contribute to system design discussions and architectural decisions.
• Improve code quality, testing practices, and development processes.
