Job summary

UNC Health southeastern is seeking a full-time Diagnostic/Procedural radiologist to work 100% remotely, covering late afternoon/evening, night, and weekend shifts for our hospital network.

You will interpret emergent imaging from the Emergency Department, including CT, radiography, and ultrasound, and provide timely reports to support acute clinical decisions while communicating critical findings to Emergency Medicine teams.

Qualifications

• Board certification in radiology (ABR) is required.
• Proficiency with general diagnostic imaging across modalities.
• Strong teamwork and patient-centered approach.

Responsibilities

• Interpret emergent and urgent imaging studies from the Emergency Department, including CT, radiography, and ultrasound.
• Provide timely, accurate reports to support acute clinical decision-making.
• Communicate critical and unexpected findings directly with Emergency Medicine providers.
