Job summary

UNC Health southeastern in Lumberton NC seeks Diagnostic/Procedural Radiologists for remote, per‑diem night and weekend coverage, reading procedures remotely for the hospital. Flexible scheduling options and the ability to cover late shifts are highlighted.

The role supports interpreting emergent imaging from the Emergency Department (CT, radiography, ultrasound) with timely, accurate reports to assist acute clinical decisions, and direct communication of critical findings to Emergency Medicine

Qualifications

• ABR board-certified radiologist (BC/BE).
• Proficient with general diagnostic imaging.
• Team-oriented and patient-focused.

Responsibilities

• Interpret emergent and urgent imaging studies from the Emergency Department, including CT, radiography, and ultrasound.
• Provide timely, accurate reports to support acute clinical decision-making.
• Communicate critical and unexpected findings directly with Emergency Medicine providers.
