Job summary

UNC Health Southwestern is seeking part-time Diagnostic/Procedural Radiologists to read procedures remotely from Lumberton, NC. The role covers nights and weekends with a per diem schedule and flexible hours, supporting emergent imaging and acute clinical decision-making.

We require ABR board certification or eligibility in Radiology and proficiency in general diagnostic imaging. The position offers competitive compensation, a comprehensive benefits package, and options for 1099 contracting.

Qualifications

• ABR board certified/eligible in Radiology.
• Proficient with general diagnostic imaging.

Responsibilities

• Interpret emergent and urgent imaging studies from the Emergency Department, including CT, radiography, and ultrasound.
• Provide timely, accurate reports to support acute clinical decision-making.
• Communicate critical and unexpected findings directly with Emergency Medicine providers.
