Job summary

UNC Health Southwestern seeks a part-time Diagnostic/Procedural Radiologist to read procedures remotely for the hospital from a 100% remote position. The role centers on late afternoon/evening, night and weekend coverage with flexible scheduling.

Responsibilities include interpreting emergent imaging (CT, radiography, ultrasound) and delivering timely reports to support acute decisions. Directly communicating critical findings to Emergency Medicine teams is required.

Qualifications

• Board-certified radiology qualification required.
• Proficient with general diagnostic imaging.
• Team-oriented and patient-focused.

Responsibilities

• Interpret emergent and urgent imaging studies from the Emergency Department, including CT, radiography, and ultrasound.
• Provide timely, accurate reports to support acute clinical decision-making.
• Communicate critical and unexpected findings directly with Emergency Medicine providers.
