AMSURG is seeking an Implementation Specialist to lead NextGen PM implementations across ambulatory centers. You will gather requirements, plan workflows, train end users, and coordinate with vendors to ensure smooth go-lives.

Role requires 2+ years with NextGen PM v5.8+, a healthcare background, and ability to travel up to 50% (remote-first). The position emphasizes training, documentation, and process optimization within Revenue Cycle projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or four years of professional experience in healthcare environment.
• At least two years direct experience with NextGen Practice Management v5.8 or higher.
• Solid understanding of ambulatory revenue cycle workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end implementation of NextGen PM and related systems for assigned sites.
• Balance multiple projects while maintaining AMSURG platform standards.
• Collaborate with Revenue Cycle teams to implement NextGen to fit project needs.
• Create user documentation and conduct end-user training for ASC, CBO and corporate users.
• Perform system builds, testing, and provide Tier 2 support as needed.
• Coordinate with vendors for integrations and issue resolution.
• Travel 30-50% as needed; remote work options available.
• Develop and update training materials and curricula.
