Job summary

Safeguard Law Group is seeking a full-time Associate Attorney for our Nevada practice. Remote work option with responsibilities including drafting pleadings, legal memoranda, and managing a heavy caseload in consumer protection and civil litigation.

The ideal candidate is Nevada-admitted, with at least 1 year of law firm experience, strong organizational skills, and excellent written and oral communication. Travel for court appearances may be required.

Qualifications

• Bar admission in Nevada is required.
• At least 1 year of law firm experience.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication abilities.
• High ethical standards and professional integrity.
• Strong interpersonal skills to work with all levels.
• Proficiency in legal research; LexisNexis is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a heavy and diverse caseload in Nevada.
• Communicate with clients regarding matters.
• Draft pleadings, motions, memoranda; review and draft agreements.
• Communicate with opposing parties to resolve claims.
• Conduct legal research on contract and consumer law.
• Travel for in-court appearances; remote/homer-based work allowed.
