Job summary

McPhail Sanchez, LLC is seeking a full-time Associate Attorney to join our Nevada practice. The ideal candidate has experience drafting pleadings and legal memoranda, strong organizational skills, and the ability to handle a heavy workload.

This position involves broad responsibilities in consumer protection, including transactional and civil litigation. While based from home, you will travel for in-court appearances, and candidates must be currently located in Nevada to be considered.

Qualifications

• Must be admitted to practice law in Nevada.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience at a law firm.
• Must possess strong organizational and time-management skills to meet strict deadlines.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
• Highest ethical standards and professional integrity.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with senior management and employees at all levels.
• Strong legal research skills — LexisNexis is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining a heavy and diversified caseload of the Firm’s clients in Nevada.
• Communicating with clients regarding their respective matters.
• Drafting pleadings, motions, legal memoranda, reviewing and drafting agreements.
• Communicating with opposing parties to resolve claims.
• Legal research related to contract law and other consumer law issues.
• While this role is based from home, you will be required to travel for in court appearances.
