Job summary

Safeguard Law Group is seeking a full-time Associate Attorney for our Nevada practice. This remote role focuses on consumer protection, including pleadings and memoranda, with workload managed in coordination with our New York headquarters by email and virtual meetings.

The ideal candidate is admitted to Nevada, with at least 1 year of law-firm experience, and strong written/oral communication, organization, and ethics. Travel to court appearances may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be currently admitted to practice law in Nevada.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience at a law firm.
• Superior organizational & time-management skills to meet deadlines.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
• Highest ethical standards and professional integrity.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with senior management.
• Strong legal research skills; LexisNexis is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining and supervising a heavy, diversified caseload in Nevada.
• Communicating with clients regarding their matters.
• Drafting pleadings, motions, legal memoranda, reviewing and drafting agreements.
• Communicating with opposing parties to resolve/settle claims.
• Legal research related to contract and consumer law issues.
• Travel for in-court appearances as required.
