Job summary

Xeris Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is seeking an Area Business Specialist to drive commercial objectives in the assigned territory.

The role emphasizes strategic, non-transactional engagement with healthcare providers to identify undiagnosed or untreated patients and to accelerate treatment initiation while ensuring compliance with company policy. You will build a territory plan, leverage data and cross-functional resources, and collaborate with PAMs and internal teams to improve patient pull-through

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of successful life sciences sales.
• Experience in rare/ultra-rare diseases, specialty pharma, or neurology preferred.
• Proven track record of high sales performance.
• Willingness to travel and periodic evening/weekend work.

Responsibilities

• Achieve territory sales goals and activity targets.
• Develop and execute a territory business plan.
• Identify high-potential HCPs and opportunities.
• Educate care teams on patient pathways and treatment eligibility.
• Partner with Marketing, Market Access, and Commercial Operations.
• Maintain compliant and ethical field practices.
• Represent Xeris professionally to stakeholders.
