Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking an entry level Networking Remote Field Service Engineer (L1) to operate regionally and provide professional remote technical support to clients by identifying and resolving incidents, ensuring zero missed SLA conditions.

Through proactive incident handling and collaboration with clients, vendors, and internal teams, you will document incidents, restore services, and contribute to continual service improvements in a remote working environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or Computing or related field is required.
• Associate level networking certifications (Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, F5, CCNA, JNCIA, ACMA) are a plus.
• Entry level experience in networking technologies such as routing, switching, Wireless, SDI distribution, core and access layers.
• Entry level experience providing remote support in Networking technologies.

Responsibilities

• Maintains the support process and ensures requests for support are handled per procedures.
• Uses service assurance software/tools to investigate and diagnose problems and create reports.
• Identifies and resolves problems following agreed procedures.
• Carries out defined maintenance tasks and documents resolutions.
• Escalates unresolved incidents and follows up until resolution and meets SLA.
