Job summary

Block Communications, Inc. seeks a Network Support Analyst to monitor and troubleshoot carrier circuits, coordinate field dispatches, and support SLA reporting. You will work with internal/external teams to diagnose connectivity issues and perform initial CPE health checks.

This role requires strong networking knowledge and experience testing DS1/TDM/Ethernet services. The candidate should have an associate degree or equivalent experience, relevant certifications, and a proven ability to work

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 2 years telecom/networking experience with carrier tech exposure.
• Obtain and maintain certifications to support products and services.
• Experience remote testing and troubleshooting DS1, TDM and Ethernet over Fiber required.
• Strong knowledge with carriers for access and last mile facilities required.
• Networking certs (CCNA/JNCIS/CompTIA Network+) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor network alarms and respond to power, transport and/or CPE issues.
• Test provider circuits and perform head-to-head testing when needed.
• Troubleshoot carrier circuits for Fiber, Coax, EoF, DS1 services.
• Support fraud detection by enabling/disabling international calling as needed.
• Coordinate with carriers for facility-related issues and initiate tickets.
