Job summary

Oscar Health is hiring a Senior Specialist for the Network Recruitment team. This remote role supports network adequacy, provider contracting lifecycle, and cross‑functional collaboration to ensure data accuracy across the network.

Reporting to the Manager, Network Recruitment, it involves travel for client meetings and coordination with multiple departments. The base pay ranges from $67,813 to $89,004 per year, with benefits and annual bonuses.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 2+ years in healthcare contract coordination.
• 2+ years experience in healthcare contract coordination, provider relations, or similar in a managed care environment.
• 1+ years experience in Microsoft Office or Google Suites, with strong knowledge of Excel/Sheets.
• 1+ years of experience prioritizing and managing cross-functional projects.

Responsibilities

• Create recruitment lists using demographic data to support network adequacy by geography, specialty, or member demographics.
• Assist with the preparation, review, and execution of provider contracts and Letters of Agreement.
• Collaborate with the Provider Recruitment team to address inquiries and data-related contracting issues.
• Oversee the "Request to Join" process and the "Join Our Network" mailbox to identify new provider contracts promptly.
• Generate reports and summaries on provider contract data updates and network status from multiple sources.
• Coordinate with departments to collect provider contract data for enterprise data systems and credentialing processes.
• Maintain and verify provider contracting data in the network database and support ongoing updates.
• Support special projects to ensure completeness and accuracy of the provider contracting database.
• Provide administrative assistance for incoming provider requests across multiple channels.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives to streamline workflows and improve the provider experience.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
