Job summary

Legacy Community Health is seeking a Network Engineer II to maintain our wired and wireless networks, optimize LAN/WAN infrastructure, and ensure reliable access to essential business applications.

The role emphasizes customer service, collaboration, and growth opportunities in a mission-driven health network serving the Houston area. Houston-based hybrid work models are available, with remote work on an as-needed basis.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 4-6 years network, routing and switching experience.
• CCNA required or commitment to achieve within 9 months.
• Familiarity with Cisco R&S/Firewall product line.
• DNS, DHCP, IP addressing and subnetting knowledge.
• Ability to configure Cisco routers/switches from the CLI.
• Experience with VPNs and firewalls for network security.
• Experience supporting a multi-site WAN.

Responsibilities

• Lead Network team projects to enhance infrastructure.
• Maintain the corporate network and access to business apps.
• Configure switching environments to meet needs.
• Troubleshoot connectivity and performance issues.
• Configure advanced wireless networking for secure guest access.
• Manage IP subnets and services like DNS, DHCP.
• Operate Cisco Prime Infrastructure or Umbrella security.
• Research new technologies and implement solutions.
• Resolve customer support tickets with a focus on service.
