Job summary

Vultr is seeking a Network Operations Engineer to support the health and stability of its global network infrastructure. You will handle onboarding via BYO-BGP, troubleshoot performance issues, and work with multiple teams to improve reliability and automation.

The role is remote and full-time, with compensation in the US market. You will contribute to maintaining high availability across Vultr’s cloud compute, storage, and network services.

Qualifications

• Experience in network operations and global infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Onboard BYO-BGP customers and troubleshoot performance issues (availability, latency, jitter).
• Identify technical debt and drive end-to-end improvements across platforms.
• Create and review maintenance procedures to minimize customer impact.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure rapid resolution of network issues, including automation.
• Troubleshoot issues at any layer of the OSI model.
