Job summary

Oscar Health is seeking a Specialist, Network Contracting to support membership growth and management within the Network Contracting Team. The role reports to the Manager, Network Contracting and is remote, open to Arizona, Florida, Georgia, and Texas residents.

Base pay ranges from $29.74 to $39.03 per hour, with benefits and 15 days of vacation accrual per year. The role emphasizes contract negotiations, provider outreach, and regional contracting strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree, or 1+ years healthcare or healthcare related field.
• 1+ years of work experience in finance, performance management, operations, consulting, or related field.
• 1+ years of experience with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (or Google suite equivalent).
• 1+ years of experience in a client facing or customer support capacity.
• 1+ year of experience with project management.
• Experience negotiating contracts with ancillaries, facilities, specialty providers, and physician groups.
• Experience in a customer support/customer service role.
• Up to 20% travel.

Responsibilities

• Support the design and execution of a network construction and support plan for a market / several markets with support from your manager.
• Meet defined metrics and SLAs including but not limited to provider outreach and contract completion
• Support overall contract negotiations, working with leaders to align on contracting strategies, that bring new partners into our network.
• Work with senior analysts and management to support the Identification, sourcing, and contracting efforts with providers in a region
• Document and share provider feedback, objections and questions to support the continuous improvement of templates and processes.
• Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.
