Job summary

Oscar Health in Texas-based field remote role seeks a Manager of Network Contracting to lead a small team negotiating and analyzing contracts with national providers, ensuring network adequacy, quality, and cost targets.

You will mentor staff, use data to inform decisions, and drive policies that improve reimbursement terms while maintaining regulatory compliance and strong provider relationships.

Travel and flexible remote work are required as part of this role.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in healthcare network contracting with health systems or hospitals.
• 2+ years managing complex provider network strategies and negotiations.
• 2+ years of people management experience.
• 2+ years in Health Insurance (Individual and/or Medicare Advantage) or healthcare industry.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of contracting staff to negotiate and analyze contracts with providers.
• Develop contracting strategies aligned with network adequacy and cost objectives.
• Mentor and supervise a small contracting team.
• Monitor metrics and provide reports to leadership.
• Ensure compliance with laws and regulatory requirements.
