Partner Company seeks a Business Controls Advisor (Network Compliance) in the United States for a fully remote role. You will support risk assessments, strengthen network-related controls, and coordinate audit responses across financial services processes.

Ideal candidates bring extensive risk management and governance experience, plus a strong ability to translate complex requirements into practical action plans. Collaboration with risk, compliance, and audit professionals is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; master's preferred.
• Typically 8 years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience in merchant acquiring, ATM operations, card networks, or financial services is preferred.
• Strong understanding of risk management, business controls, and governance.
• Experience with audit processes and corrective action plans.
• Ability to translate requirements into practical business processes.
• Excellent analytical, detail-oriented, and communication skills.
• Proactive, organized, and able to work independently across functions.

Responsibilities

• Support risk and control consultations for new and existing processes.
• Align policies, standards, procedures with regulatory requirements and guidelines.
• Identify, assess, and monitor operational and strategic risks using KRIs.
• Design and enhance controls to mitigate identified risks.
• Serve as liaison for internal and external audits and provide documentation.
• Translate audit findings into actionable remediation plans.
• Contribute to governance practices and risk frameworks.
• Monitor open issues, track remediation, and escalate overdue matters.
• Maintain knowledge of evolving regulatory, network, and compliance requirements.
