Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Senior Manager, Compliance Advisory (Network Compliance) to provide risk management leadership for the network and merchant businesses. You will deliver effective compliance challenge and advisory across processes worldwide and align the network program with Capital One’s enterprise risk framework.

The ideal candidate demonstrates organizational excellence, leadership, and strong communication skills, engaging with business leaders and executives to craft innovative risk

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or military experience required as basic qualification.
• Advanced degree (JD or Master’s) preferred.
• Experience in technology, risk assessment, or compliance is valued.

Responsibilities

• Utilize subject matter expertise to advise and challenge on network and merchant compliance risks.
• Develop expert understanding of network and merchant processes.
• Analyze processes against laws and Capital One's global legal inventory.
• Identify trends in data and emerging external risks in payments.
• Maintain expertise in payments industry and applicable regulations.
• Collaborate with First and Second Line to adapt risk framework for network/merchant services.
• Ensure compliance for business expansions and new products with downstream entities.
• Build relationships with Risk, Legal, and Audit peers to support integration.
