Chimes District of Columbia, Inc is seeking a DB Architect to design scalable, secure database and data-warehouse structures supporting business and technical needs. The role is remote within the USA and requires US work authorization.

The candidate should have 5+ years in database design, data models, and related tooling, with experience in regulated environments. Responsibilities include developing data models, enforcing standards, and planning upgrades to improve performance and reliability.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related field preferred.
• Five+ years in database design, data architecture, or related work.
• Experience in government, regulated, or security-conscious environments preferred.
• Equivalent education and experience considered.

Mansioni

• Design and document secure, scalable, high-performing database architectures.
• Develop logical/physical data models, schemas, views, indexes, interfaces.
• Establish standards and integration approaches for databases.
• Coordinate clustering, backup, recovery, and uptime strategies.
• Plan upgrades and optimize performance and reliability.

Formazione

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
