Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a highly skilled .NET Full Stack Lead to guide the development and modernization of enterprise applications in a healthcare context. You will lead cross-functional teams, architect scalable solutions, and stay hands-on with .NET Core, C#, REST APIs, and AI-powered cloud-native components.

The role emphasizes technical leadership, collaboration, and delivering reliable software in Agile and operational settings, with a remote-friendly setup for qualified US applicants.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 5–10 years with .NET Framework/.NET Core, C#, Web APIs, HTML5, CSS.
• 5–10 years with RAG, Azure OpenAI, Azure Document Intelligence, Azure AI Search.
• Hands-on with .NET Core 3.1/5.0, EF, ADO.NET, C#/.NET, RESTful APIs.
• Experience with SOAP Web Services and Web APIs.
• Strong SQL Server experience and relational DB development.
• Unit testing with NUnit, MSTest, or xUnit.
• Git and SDLC best practices.
• Knowledge of NLog/Log4Net; MS Project/Visio preferred.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end support and delivery of enterprise apps, APIs, and AI-enabled solutions.
• Mentor teams; drive reliability, performance, and modernization.
• Design and implement cloud-native solutions using Azure OpenAI, microservices, and containers.
• Develop and support AI-powered chatbot solutions with RAG architectures.
• Ensure RBAC for secure access and implement SSO integrations.
• Collaborate across stakeholders in Agile and Waterfall environments.
• Lead troubleshooting for complex production issues and root-cause analysis.
• Contribute to architecture governance and best practices.
