Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a .NET Full Stack Lead to drive the end-to-end development, support, and modernization of critical enterprise applications in a healthcare environment. You will lead across teams while staying hands-on with .NET Core, Azure, APIs, and AI-powered solutions to ensure reliability and performance.

Ideal candidates have strong leadership, cloud-native experience, and a proven track record with RESTful services, microservices, and modern API frameworks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 5-10 years of experience with .NET Framework/.NET Core, C#, Web APIs, HTML5, and CSS.
• 5-10 years of experience with RAG, Azure OpenAI, Azure Document Intelligence, and Azure AI Search.
• Hands-on experience with .NET Core 3.1/5.0, EF, ADO.NET, C#/.NET, and RESTful APIs.
• Experience developing and supporting SOAP Web Services and Web APIs.
• Strong experience with SQL Server, SQL/T-SQL/PL-SQL, LINQ, and relational DB development.
• Experience with unit testing frameworks including NUnit, MSTest, and xUnit.
• Hands-on with Swagger, YAML, JSON, XML/XSD, and XSLT/XPath.
• Experience using Git and SDLC best practices.
• Knowledge of NLog/Log4Net and logging frameworks.
• Exposure to Microsoft Project and Visio preferred.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end support and delivery of enterprise applications, APIs, integration services, and AI-enabled solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across architects, developers, infra, and support teams to ensure reliability and modernization.
• Guide troubleshooting for complex production issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Design and support cloud-native solutions leveraging Azure OpenAI, RAG, Azure AI Search, and Kubernetes/OpenShift.
