Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a highly skilled .NET Full Stack Lead to drive development of enterprise applications in healthcare, combining hands-on coding with technical leadership. The role emphasizes modern AI-driven solutions, Azure OpenAI, RAG, and scalable architectures.

You will guide teams across Azure AI Search, microservices, Kubernetes/OpenShift, and RESTful APIs while ensuring reliability, performance, and modernization initiatives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years with .NET Framework/.NET Core, C#, Web APIs, HTML5, CSS.
• 5+ years with RAG, Azure OpenAI, Azure Document Intelligence, and Azure AI Search.
• Hands-on with .NET Core 3.1/5.0, EF, ADO.NET, C#/.NET, RESTful APIs.
• Experience developing SOAP Web Services and Web APIs.
• Strong SQL Server, T‑SQL/PL‑SQL, LINQ, and relational databases.
• Unit testing frameworks (nUnit, MSTest, xUnit).
• Experience with Swagger, YAML, JSON, XML/XSD, XSLT/XPath.
• Git workflows and SDLC best practices.
• NLog/Log4Net logging; Microsoft Project/Visio is a plus.
• Analytical, troubleshooting, and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end support and delivery of enterprise applications, APIs, and AI-enabled solutions.
• Mentor teams while driving high-quality delivery in Agile and operations.
• Lead troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and performance tuning of complex n‑tier apps.
• Design cloud-native solutions using Azure OpenAI, RAG, and microservices.
• Collaborate across stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable architectures.
