Job summary

SouthState Bank is seeking a Software Engineer II to join the Correspondent Application Development team. The role focuses on developing and maintaining web applications, web services, and .NET libraries using C#, ASP.NET, MVC, WCF, WPF, and SQL Server.

You will work with Business Analysts, QA Engineers, and fellow developers to deliver high-quality software in an Agile environment, following established deployment practices. Remote work is available with occasional travel to Atlanta, GA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3–5 years of software engineering experience.
• Development experience in the financial sector preferred (ACH, Fedwire/SWIFT, bonds).

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications, web services, and .NET libraries using C#, ASP.NET, MVC, and SQL Server.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, QA Engineers, and fellow Software Engineers within an Agile SDLC.
• Follow established deployment practices and document deployment procedures.
• Estimate timelines and analyze requirements based on documented specifications.
• Provide testing support and assist QA and business users with issue resolution.
• Ensure compliance with bank policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines.
