Job summary

SouthState Bank is seeking a Software Engineer II for the Correspondent Application Development team. This fully remote role collaborates with Business Analysts, QA Engineers, and fellow developers to build and maintain enterprise applications using the .NET stack.

You will follow Agile SCRUM, contribute to design and testing, and ensure deployments in production environments. Occasional travel to the Atlanta office may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related discipline.
• 3–5 years of software engineering experience.
• Development experience in the financial sector, especially ACH, Fedwire/SWIFT, and bond accounting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications, services, Windows apps, and .NET libraries.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, QA Engineers, and fellow engineers.
• Document deployment instructions and oversee deployment activities.
• Troubleshoot production issues and ensure code quality with automated tests.
• Adhere to bank policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines.
