Job summary

VetsEZ is seeking a .NET Developer to join a 100% remote team supporting a large federal government healthcare modernization project for VA DMS within EHRM-IO. You will design, develop, test, and maintain secure C#/NET applications and data integration solutions, including REST/SOAP services and InterSystems IRIS, collaborating with EHRM architects and stakeholders.

The role involves enterprise data migration, interoperability, and modernization efforts across a remote, multidisciplinary Agile

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or eight years of relevant experience.
• 5+ years of software development experience with C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET, and Web API.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL.
• Experience integrating systems via REST/SOAP web services and data migration.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and remote collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain secure applications using C#, .NET Core, .NET Framework, ASP.NET, MVC, Web API, JavaScript, Angular, React.
• Develop and maintain database-driven applications and data integration processes.
• Collaborate with architects and cross-functional teams to implement solutions for interoperability.
• Troubleshoot, debug, perform root cause analysis, and conduct testing and deployment activities.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and maintain documentation and source control.
• Evaluate AI-assisted development tools and integrate LLMS to improve tooling where appropriate.
• Take on additional tasks to support project success.
