Job summary

VetsEZ is seeking a Healthcare Integration Support Engineer for a 100% remote position supporting a large federal government healthcare modernization project. You will provide centralized technical assistance for healthcare facilities, vendors, developers, and integration partners using interoperability services.

You will troubleshoot EHR/HIE/FHIR, API interfaces, and data exchange, coordinate with engineering and onboarding teams, and maintain knowledge bases and training materials to drive

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of related professional experience are required.
• Experience troubleshooting healthcare interoperability technologies (EHR, HIE, FHIR, APIs, interfaces).
• Strong root-cause analysis, connectivity troubleshooting, and validation testing required.
• Excellent communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide centralized technical assistance for healthcare facilities, vendors, developers, and integration partners using interoperability services.
• Troubleshoot integration, connectivity, configuration, onboarding, and data-exchange issues; coordinate resolutions with engineering/onboarding/testing/platform teams.
• Communicate issues clearly with users and partners to define problems, isolate root causes, and deliver technical solutions.
• Support EHR, HIE, FHIR, API, interfaces, and related healthcare services; validate fixes and system readiness.
• Maintain knowledge base, troubleshooting procedures, known issues, and resolution guidance; support training and user adoption.
• Document defects and configuration changes for operational reference and continuous improvement.
