Job summary

VetsEZ is seeking a .NET Developer for a 100% remote role supporting a large federal healthcare modernization project for the VA. You will design, develop, test, and maintain secure applications using C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET, SQL, REST APIs, and InterSystems IRIS.

You will collaborate in a remote Agile team with EHRM-IO architects and federal stakeholders to advance data migration and interoperability, participate in SDLC activities, and explore AI-assisted tooling while upholding security and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or eight years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
• Strong hands-on experience with C#, .NET Core/.NET Framework, ASP.NET, MVC, Web API.
• Proficiency with SQL and relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL).
• Experience building RESTful and SOAP services; modern front-end tech.
• Analytical, troubleshooting, and secure coding skills; strong remote collaboration.
• Excellent communication and teamwork in a federal-government context.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain secure C#/NET apps for VA data migration.
• Develop data interfaces with SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL; REST/SOAP services.
• Collaborate with EHRM architects to define requirements and technical solutions.
• Debug, test, deploy, and monitor applications within IIS and CI/CD pipelines.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and document technical and security controls.
