Job summary

Syms Strategic Group (SSG) is seeking a talented C# Developer for a full-time, remote role supporting the Veterans Affairs department. The ideal candidate wields strong .NET/C#, MVC, RESTful APIs, and SQL Server expertise to build secure, scalable software.

You will participate in Agile ceremonies, implement CI/CD pipelines, review code, mentor junior developers, and collaborate with stakeholders. U.S. Citizenship and Public Trust clearance is required for this opportunity.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of software development using .NET technologies.
• Strong experience with MVC, RESTful APIs, and Entity Framework.
• Solid knowledge of OOP and design patterns; building scalable apps.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical planning, requirements definition, testing, and integration for software systems.
• Develop back-end components using C#, .NET Core, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ensure performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews; collaborate with stakeholders.
• Document software designs and utilize Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, and Git.
