Job summary

Syms Strategic Group, LLC is seeking a talented C# Developer for a fully remote position supporting the Veterans Affairs department. The role focuses on .NET back-end development using C#, MVC, RESTful APIs, and CI/CD pipelines within Agile teams.

You will work with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS), SQL Server, EF, and DevOps tools to deliver scalable enterprise applications, participate in code reviews, and mentor junior developers while maintaining high quality standards.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of software development using .NET technologies.
• Experience with full-stack development using .NET and C#.
• Strong OOP and design pattern knowledge.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and other APIs.
• Experience with SQL Server and EF.
• Familiar with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS).
• Experience with Git, Azure DevOps, CI/CD.
• Knowledge of unit testing frameworks (NUnit, xUnit, MSTest).

Responsibilities

• Plan requirements, test planning, and integration work.
• Provide software system services including design and deployment.
• Participate in daily stand-ups as part of the team.
• Develop .NET back-end with C#, and CI/CD deployments.
• Ensure performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Provide production support and continuous improvement.
• Promote reusable software via Agile practices.
• Interface with stakeholders to gather requirements.
• Document software designs and diagrams.
• Use IDEs like Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, and Git.
