Job summary
Syms Strategic Group (SSG) is seeking a talented C# Developer for a 100% remote role supporting the Veterans Affairs department. The role requires strong .NET/C# expertise, MVC architecture, REST APIs, SQL Server, and cloud experience (Azure/AWS). You will work within an Agile team, participate in CI/CD, and contribute to high-quality software solutions with a focus on security and performance.
Five+ years of experience in .NET technologies and a Public Trust (MBI) clearance are preferred. U.S.
Qualifications
- Must have strong .NET and C# expertise with MVC experience.
- Proficient in RESTful APIs and SQL Server development.
- Familiar with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) and CI/CD practices.
- Experience with unit testing frameworks and code reviews.
- Knowledge of security practices for web apps and APIs.
- Agile development experience (Scrum/Kanban).
Responsibilities
- Plan, define requirements, test, and support software systems.
- Develop full-stack .NET back-end with C# and CI/CD deployment.
- Participate in daily stand-ups as part of a software team.
- Interface with stakeholders to refine project requirements.
- Promote test automation, modularization, and clean design.
- Document software designs and use IDEs like Visual Studio/Azure DevOps.
