INS Engineering is building a leading NERC compliance practice for renewable generation owners and utilities. This director role blends hands-on compliance work with developing client programs, a growing engineering team, and scalable processes for delivering services to multiple clients.

You will guide technical reviews, build delivery standards, and foster trusted client relationships while scaling the practice across the U.S.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Hands-on power engineering, protection, generation, transmission, or related work.
• Direct NERC compliance experience including reviewing evidence and audit packages.
• Ability to interpret electrical one-lines, protection, relay, RTAC and SCADA, and CIP asset boundaries.
• Working knowledge of NERC CIP (CIP-002/003) and GO/GOP O&P compliance across multiple standards.
• Leadership with client program ownership and team-building ability.

Responsabilidades

• Lead or review NERC compliance assessments, procedures, evidence packages, and audit-readiness materials.
• Translate NERC CIP and O&P obligations into electrical systems, diagrams and auditable evidence.
• Identify gaps and direct practical corrective actions with engineering and client teams.
• Develop or improve GO/GO P compliance programs, procedures and workflows.
• Lead multi-client program oversight, including action owners, milestones and QA.
• Partner with leadership on proposals, strategy and business development.
