Job summary

ENGIE North America is seeking a Director of Reliability and Regulatory Compliance to lead enterprise compliance across generation, renewables, storage, transmission, and other power operations in the United States and Canada. You will establish governance, controls, and strategies to meet NERC, FERC, and market obligations.

You will direct regulatory submissions, audits, and readiness activities while guiding a Regulatory Compliance team and serving as final approver for material matters within

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressively responsible experience in NERC compliance or related fields.
• 5+ years in a senior leadership role.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise reliability and regulatory compliance program across generation, renewables, storage, transmission.
• Interpret regulatory requirements and approve applicability, registration, and jurisdictional determinations.
• Direct regulatory filings, certifications, attestations, audits, and corrective actions.
• Oversee regulatory readiness for assets including interconnection, testing, and operation.
• Guide implementation of NERC Standards, Regional Entity obligations, ISO/RTO rules, and market requirements.
• Partner with cross-functional leaders to assign ownership and address control gaps.
• Lead, develop, and retain the Regulatory Compliance team with succession planning.
