Job summary

EDGE Engineering and Science seeks a National NEPA Project Manager to independently prepare environmental documents for linear infrastructure and coastal projects. You will work with federal agencies, clients, and the NEPA Practice to ensure legally defensible documentation, participate in public meetings, and mentor junior staff.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s in a relevant field and 7–10 years of NEPA experience with knowledge of CWA, ESA, and NHPA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental sciences, geology, planning, or similar.
• 7–10 years of NEPA experience or equivalent writing and document development.
• Strong understanding of NEPA and related environmental laws.

Responsibilities

• Conduct NEPA impact analyses for public projects and develop appropriate NEPA documents.
• Prepare EISs, EAs, and categorical exclusions and other environmental documents.
• Author sections of NEPA documents and QA/QC deliverables with subconsultants when needed.
• Coordinate with agencies and the public to meet compliance requirements and gather stakeholder input.
• Stay current on NEPA law, policy, and guidance; support environmental permitting processes.
