EDGE Engineering and Science seeks a NEPA Project Specialist to prepare environmental documents, primarily EA/EIS and related studies for linear and coastal infrastructure. You will work with clients, senior staff, and subject matter experts, with occasional field surveys depending on experience.

You will contribute to cross-disciplinary teams, manage timelines, and stay current on NEPA law, guidance, and best practices while delivering rigorous, compliant analyses.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental sciences, geology, planning or similar.
• 3–5 years of NEPA experience or comparable writing/drafting experience.
• Strong research, analytical, writing, oral communication and organizational skills.

Aufgaben

• Conduct NEPA impact analyses for a wide range of public projects and develop the appropriate level of NEPA documentation.
• Assist in the preparation of legally sound NEPA documents (EISs, EAs, and categorical exclusions) and other environmental compliance documents (e.g., biological assessments).
• Oversee NEPA documents prepared by subconsultants and provide QA/QC for deliverables where needed.
• Coordinate with local/state/federal agencies and the public to meet compliance requirements and document stakeholder input.
